11 years ago today, we debuted our “Smile” / “Let’s Face the Music and Dance” Free Dance at the 2010 Nebelhorn Trophy in Oberstdorf, Germany. It was our very first senior competition and we placed second in the Free Dance (5th overall). That ended up being a very special season.

We went on to win bronze medals at both of our Grand Prix events (the first time a first year senior team accomplished that feat). That was followed by a silver medal at our first U.S. Championships at the senior level, and another silver medal at the Four Continents Championships (the first time a team of Asian descent had medaled at an ISU Championship event). Finally, after the World Championships was postponed and moved from Tokyo to Moscow, we won our first medal at the World Championships!
