Unlike arriving to a sport crag and pulling on to a project, climbing through challenging terrain thousands of feet off the ground provides its own challenges- from being fatigued while stringing together all the heady pitches that lead up to arrive at this point on the wall, to the pressure of sending on the Push, and the restless nights sleeping on the side of the cliff in an open bivvy in pursuit of the Send. This rock was incredibly sharp and by this attempt, I had blood on every finger tip.
