じゃん🌳✨今回はハワイ島に訪れて、絶滅危惧種になっているコアの木の植樹をしにきたよ♪
コアの木は、昔からハワイの先住民にとって神の宿る木としてとても大切にされている高級な木で、家具やカヌー、楽器、食器、サーフボードなどに使用されてきたよ。
昔はハワイの山々はコアの木で溢れていてコアの周りにはハワイでしか見る事のできないめずらしい鳥や生き物もたくさん生息していたみたい🕊
ただ、森林伐採などによって、今は昔と比べると約10分の1にまで減ってしまったんだって。
コアの木は木の根からの栄養を自分だけじゃなくて周りに分け与えて他の植物も育てる事ができるすごいパワーを持っているんだよ🌿
今回は2010年から活動をはじめているハワイアンレガシーフォレストさんのところで植樹を行ったよ☺️

わたしは、植える時になんだか、涙がいっぱい溢れてきて、この木を植えさせてくれてありがとうの気持ちで、胸がすごく熱くなったよ。 ごめんね。そしてありがとう。

This time, I visited Hawaii Island to plant endangered Koa trees♪
The Koa tree is a very precious tree that has long been valued by the native Hawaiian people as a tree in which God lives. Koa tree wood is often used for furniture, canoeing, musical instruments, tableware, surfboards, etc.
In the past, the mountains of Hawaii were full of koa trees, and it seems that there were many birds and other creatures around the koa that can only be seen in Hawaii🕊
However, it is said that deforestation has reduced the number to about one-tenth of what it used to be.
I heard that koa trees have great power to share not only the nutrients from the roots of the trees but also to grow other plants 🌿
This time, we planted trees at a Hawaiian legacy who started working in 2010😌
If you ever visit Hawaii, be sure to experience it♪
When I planted it, tears welled up, and I was so grateful for letting me plant this tree that I felt so excited. Sorry, and thank you.
