As a @dyson ambassador I've been given a selection of tips and tricks on how to create a cleaner and healthier home! 🏡🫧 During the winter months, pollution and dust mites thrive in our home! 🤢This is due to the fact we spend more time indoors with the windows closed, the heating or fires on, and we're sat on our sofas more so are shedding more skin which is what dust mites feed on! Dyson have a team of microbiologists in their labs who study how bacteria, allergens and other microscopic particles multiply in our homes so they can learn how to help keep our homes more hygienic and engineer machines to best help. Here's some of the tips they shared that we can all do in our homes: 🫧 Vacuum all your upholstery - think sofas, cushions, mattresses - but also your curtains and blinds as dust can gather on these. 🫧Vacuum the hidden spots behind your radiators. We often forget about these spaces so dust gathers here and then when we turn on our heating the warm air distributes the dust around the room! 🫧 Clean your oven really well and have an air purifier in the kitchen if you can. The two new technologies I'm using here are the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute and the Dyson Purifier Cool Autoreact. Without getting too geeky, the vacuum is their most powerful, lightweight cordless vacuum and is able to detect, remove, and even count microscopic dust particles so you get scientific proof of your deep clean! I'm particularly obsessed with the illuminated cleaner head that lets you see dust that isn't visible to the naked eye.
