While January is coming to an end, we’ve just personally celebrated Chinese New Year and we’re very much still getting a feel for 2023.

To kick off the year we’re sharing a takeover series by Anastasia Kolesnichenko (@vaasialis) – a visual artist and photographer from Moscow, Russia. Fascinated by common objects and materials we come across daily, Anastasia’s creative practice transforms everyday items into visual representations of emotion by “giving materials a voice”. In her latest project for AÃRK, Anastasia evokes the feeling of renewed energy for self-improvement that a new year brings.
