After 75 years, it’s time for a glow-up ✨
How do you clean a 600-year-old tapestry? Just ask the experts in @mettextileconservation, who worked with folks at the @metcloisters to revive this ca. 1400–1410 Julius Caesar tapestry—one of the nine “Heroes” tapestries—through a process known as wet cleaning.
Big shout-out to all those who brought this project to life!
