The Easter Witch and Easter Dog vases are inspired by a Finnish tradition “virpominen” welcoming the end of winter. Finnish children dress up as witches and decorate willow twigs with feathers and small embellishments. Going door to door, the little witches expect small treats in return for their blessing as they wish their neighbours a healthy year.⁠
