I noticed on my heavy weighted pull ups, I was having trouble with the the top few inches, where you go from chin just barely getting over the bar to decidedly getting chest and shoulders to the bar. So, I backed off on the weights a little bit to focus on that ROM. My sets for the day were:
5 x 25 lbs
5 x 30 lbs
5 x 35 lbs
5 x 40 lbs
4.9 x 45 lbs (couldn’t get it on the last rep)
3 x 50 lbs
