In her opening Address, President @halimahyacob set out 4 key priorities for the rest of the current term of government: 1) Expand opportunities throughout life for all, regardless of background or circumstances; 2) Improve social safety nets to help Singaporeans better cope with disruptions and setbacks in life; 3) Press on with longer-term efforts to build a city that is green, connected and highly liveable; 4) Strengthen our collective responsibility to shape our new compact. Even as we focus on navigating the current uncertain environment, we must also plan for the future and for generations to come. MPs will debate the President’s Address next week.
