When I Grow Up. Brian played piano obsessively after school, deconstructing the harmonies of the Four Freshmen by listening to short segments of their songs on a record, then working to recreate the blended sounds note by note on the keyboard. Brian also owned an educational record called The Instruments of the Orchestra, which of course, would become influential in his work a decade later.
