４月２１日（金）、フリン米太平洋陸軍
司令官が来省し、森下陸幕長と懇談を行いました。懇談の冒頭、ＵＨ－６０ＪＡ航空事故に対する哀悼の意が伝えられました。懇談においては、陸上自衛隊と米陸軍との 更なる連携強化の方向性について認識を共有しました。
また、インド太平洋地域の平和と安定に寄与 するため、日米が連携して防衛協力を推進 していく ことで一致しました。

On April 21 2023, GEN Flynn, USARPAC CG made a visit to Camp Ichigaya to meet GEN Morishita, COS, JGSDF. In the beginning of the talk, GEN Flynn expressed his deep regret to the JGSDF tragic accident of UH-60.
During the meeting, both leadership shared the vision towards the more robust partnership between JGSDF and US Army.
They also agreed that JPN-US alliance will further promote defense cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region for its peace and stability.
