一保堂茶舗さんのインスタグラム写真 - (一保堂茶舗Instagram)「「2023年の新茶、いよいよ発売」本日5月9日、今年の新茶が発売です！今年は3月中旬から暖かい日が続き、桜も開花が早かったですね。あわせてお茶の新芽も早く芽吹きました。芽吹いてからの気温は低めで、ゆっくりじっくり順調に成長。こうしてみなさまに新茶をお届けできる日を迎えました。今年の新茶は、重厚感のある甘さと旨みがしっかり強いです。新茶らしいほろ苦さと渋みが、すっきり軽やかに感じさせてくれます。今年だけの味わい。ぜひ一緒に楽しみませんか。【2023 Shincha is Finally Here!】 Today, May 9th, Ippodo's Shincha, the sencha green tea released right after it is harvested, is finally available for purchase! This year, from mid March temperatures were warm, and the cherry blossoms bloomed earlier than usual. Sure enough, the new buds of the tea trees emerged early as well. But, after the buds emerged the temperature got a little cooler, and the young new leaves grew slowly and steadily. After a month or so of growth, the new leaves were harvested, and we are happy to deliver the new Shincha release to everyone starting today. This year's Shincha has notably heavy sweetness and umami. At the same time, its refreshing bitterness and astringency, a classic feature of Shincha, give balance and crispness to the experience. It's a flavor only to be found in this year's release.
