My 16th Mother’s Day was the best one yet. These holidays can be confusing and complicated, can’t they? Managing expectations, disappointment, responsibility, patience, soul filling happiness, longing, guilt and sadness. Essentially, motherhood at its core. It’s been tricky for me to navigate in the past, but Sunday I woke up with a clear head, a full heart and deep gratitude for our health and the smiles on all of our faces. I am happy and content, surrounded by my children, my mother, and my husband, the skeleton of this ship without whom I wouldn’t have a compass.

Wishing all the momma and momma figures a peaceful and loving week (we are still celebrating because I said so) ❤️
