Stellies life has been a lot different to the Jozi experience.

Slowing down has been hard.
I don’t know what this means for my career, my self worth, my ability to make a living.

I just know it’s better to feel in control of who I say ’yes’ to, who’s ‘terms’ my day is based on, and how much of myself I am giving.

I know I am fortunate- not many are. In so many different ways. Please don’t misconstrue this for my inability to see some of the realities people are facing.
I can only try speak from a place of grace- my own experience.

To be an entertainer- perhaps a ‘performer’ in a proverbial ’circus’ is a dream for many. It was for me.
But after so much given and taken- I am just happy to be here.

I don’t know what this means for my future, but that will just have to be ok for now - I take it one day at a time.

Grateful for this human beside me, this time, and this space.
