I was convinced I’d never let anyone close to me again, so if I wanted to do this, I would have to do it alone no matter the option I choose. At 37, I decided to get my eggs frozen w @thermanetwork . That same year, I also decided to face my fears & intentionally date. What an interesting topic of conversation to bring up on my first dates 😳🫣 😂 Some guys completely turned me off “why don’t we try making one tonight?” Some where sweet and suggested co-parenting with me, but as sweet at that was, it was way too soon. While others weren’t bothered by it, they definitely were uninterested in any of my future goals, they just wanted to have fun. It was rare when a guy seemed genuinely interested. I was very open with Ryan from the jump, and as you know the first date , lead to the second, which lead to where we are presently on the 1,000th date 🥹 We were just 2 months OFFICIALLY in when I started my 1st cycle of my egg freezing and I chose to go at it alone. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy with all the medication shots, hormones out of wack, early morning doctor visits & body changes, i was for sure he’d RUN…. But to my surprise he didn’t … and bc he didn’t , I was able to let him in. I took my Trigger Shots with him at my side , on his bed , slept by his side , and the next morning he took me in for my egg retrieval surgery. As I look at the first shot video , I’m so proud of myself for being fearless; for following through with my choice no matter what was going on in my life at the time or who.
