But guys, the Dyson Gen5Detect is something else. 🤣🙌 What makes it so good, I hear you ask? ✨LONG RUN TIME Well, for a start, it provides up to 70 minutes of suction, which is Dyson’s longest ever runtime in a cordless vacuum. It means I can now do my whole house (and even our car) in one charge, which is awesome. 💪 ✨ POWERFUL SUCTION It's Dyson’s first ever vacuum to feature the next-generation Hyperdymium motor, spinning at up to135,000 rpm. For context, that is up to NINE TIMES faster than a formula 1 car engine, which is an absolute madness. 🤯 It basically means it has the most powerful suction, and I've really noticed the difference. Especially on my rattan rug next to where Alf eats, which is normally a nightmare to keep clean. ✨CLEANER HOMES Probably my favourite new feature is the new interface that shows you in real-time when the surface you're cleaning is truly clean or if you need to spend more time cleaning it. It has a HEPA filtration system, which basically means it can capture 99.99% of viruses and particles down to 0.1 microns The new Fluffy OpticTM cleaner head has a laser on it that allows you to see microscopic dust - I actually found this so useful on our white playroom floor and wooden floors as you never miss any spots and it's so easy to see all the dirt! ✨ EASIER TO USE! There's now a power button instead of the trigger on previous vacuums! I find this is so much more comfortable to use as you're not having to keep pressing down, and it means you can swap hands easily if you need! And last but not least, you can go from floor to handheld cleaning really easily because it has a built in dusting tool! I love this for doing the sofas and my mattress whilst cleaning! I always find it hard not to get too geeky when talking about the Dyson but I'm just fascinated by the science and engineering. But in a nutshell: it's their best vacuum yet.
