Dear 32,
I have such a beautiful life. Blessed in so many incredible ways. Thankful for the family I have around me who continue to push me and shower me with their love and time. I thank my friends that have turned into family for picking me up when I’m at my lowest and helping me laugh and dance through every storm. THERAPY… oooo baby! I thank a dear friend of mine, who I will allow to remain nameless, for passing me her therapist’s information. You told me it wouldn’t be pretty or an easy road… and it hasn’t. But God knows without her in my life idk how I would’ve dealt with half of the things I’m going through now or if I would’ve ever began unpacking my past traumas. 31 was a very ugly yet beautiful year for me. I spent a lot of much needed time to myself but also met some incredible friends along the way. I lost a lot and I gained a lot but no matter what I always took it one day at a time. I can say .. “I’m proud of you sis! 32 is going to look even more beautiful on you. Continue to heal. Continue to unpack. Continue getting close with your family and friends and closer to God. This ride will have some unexpected bumps but he wouldn’t put anything in your life that you couldn’t handle. Remember that… and look how far you’ve come. I love me some you.”
