Today, we’re launching a new series centered on the theme of Freedom. What does freedom look like? How do we experience it in our daily lives? How does it inform our work as creatives? Each day, one artist will answer that here in some form.

First up: A short film by @mxalyzaenriquez.

“As a trans, Cuban artist, freedom for me is about self-definition and the ability to live as myself. We’re in a time in the U.S. where there are many people attempting to restrict our rights and ability to thrive. We must insist on our freedom to exist.”
