Only one month left to catch #DarkWaters at @TateLiverpool! 🌊 For the first time, JMW Turner's stormy seascapes are immersed in an atmospheric sound environment created by artist and musician, @LaminFofana_. Although making work centuries apart, both artists convey the power and politics of the ocean. Turner’s paintings focus on the dangers of the waters around the British coast while Fofana's work translates the writing of pioneering Black authors into sound, exploring questions of movement, migration, alienation and belonging.
