Fedden used Rowney's Student grade oil paints for the painting, which were thinned in some areas with turpentine. It is possible that a small amount of resin was added to the dark paint in the centre of the large red flower to create an impasto effect, although the artist does not recall mixing anything into the paint, so it is more likely that it was paint straight from the tube. 🖌️」8月30日 23時04分
