It’s safe to say that we’ve all looked up into the clouds at some point in our lives and said “that looks like an elephant, that one looks like an alligator…” etc. The term for this is #pareidolia, which in essence is to see familiar pattern or recognizable object in something. Our brains rely on everyday pattern recognition to acquire information, hard wired to the gathering of social information. I could go one, but you probably get the point. Clouds, to this day, are a constant source of this for me, and something I’ve always enjoyed, like the face seen here in this colorful stormy sunset.
