第三章
こちらは新作のシリーズ。
菌類をテーマにしたシリーズはここでひとまず終わり。
世界中旅しながら、現地の生地を買い集め、どこにいても少しずつ繋ぎ合わせる作業はとても楽しかった。
この展示はあえて、蝶々の標本のように釘を刺して展示しました。

Chapter 3
This is a mini-series and the end of the fungus-themed series.
I had a lot of fun traveling around the world, buying local fabrics and assembling them little by little wherever I was.
This exhibition dared to be presented on a nail like a butterfly specimen.

菌類のポートレート集
Fungus Portraits 2023

蚤の市でよく見かける、古い写真たち。
そこから発想を得て、菌類のポートレート集を作ってみた。
アノニマス。その誰でもない者たちの記憶は、この世の片隅に存在している。
菌類は記憶を餌に、腐敗と再生を繰り返し新たな物語を形成する。
不安定にまつられた肖像たち。
歪な格好をした記憶は、
いつでもこの世界から剥がれ落ちる心の準備をしているかのようだ。
I had the idea of creating a collection called "Fungus Portraits" from old photos found at flea markets,
Anonymous. These memories seem to exist in a corner of the world.
The molds feed off the memories and form new stories.
The portraits, which are unstably attached, seem ready to burst out of the world at any moment.
