Happy Moon Festival to all who celebrate! 🐇

Like Thanksgiving in the West, during the Moon Festival, families in East Asia reunite to express gratitude and celebrate the season of harvests. This holiday which falls on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar, is also known as Mid-Autumn Festival in China and as “Tsukimi” in Japan and “Chuseok” in Korea. In East Asia, the moon is associated with rabbits as legend has it that one lives on the moon, pounding the elixir of immortality.
