Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very enlightening ⚡

Recently our tiger siblings Cinta and Berani experienced a thunderstorm created by the Wildlife Care team. The event was designed to simulate the aftermath of a lightning strike to promote problem-solving and sensory cognition.

To mimic a real storm, several elements were included. Fans were used as wind, misters created rain, care specialists played thunder sounds, a tree crew trimmed the tree, and the horticulture team torched the cut branches. They also scattered the scent of prey animals and ended the experience with tasty meat.

This layered, dynamic experience allowed the tigers to interact with their environment in a different way and use their natural instincts.
