Spanning three-and-a-half metres across, 'Warrior' is a grand, shimmering example of El Anatsui's iconic bottle-top sculptures.⁣
⁣
Made from thousands of flattened aluminium bottle-tops threaded together with copper wire, it represents a development in these works in its depiction of a legible human figure.⁣
⁣
'Warrior' will be offered in the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale this Friday, the same week the artist's Turbine Hall commission at Tate Modern has been unveiled.⁣
