Long distance running has always been something I didn’t enjoy (or didn’t know how to enjoy) but I’m so grateful to @asics_japan for giving me this opportunity because I ended up having so much fun! I’ve been in the world of competitive sport my whole life but being a part of this running community has taught me how diverse sport can be. Each and every person that was there had their own reason to run and I was so inspired by that. Despite the heavy rain, the volunteers, the crowd, the organizers and runners all came together and created an atmosphere that I’ll never forget.
