The most “nutrient dense” food is the pepper, even though it has far less total nutrients than everything else. That’s because “nutrient density” gives too much credit to food that has almost no calories (energy in it).

Compared to the calories, pepper has a lot of nutrients.

Compared to the lamb or supplements, it is a meaningless amount.

Look at your food like this:

Which has the least toxins?

Which has the most total nutrients?

Which has the amount of energy my body wants right now?

Nutrient density is a made up way to sell you cheap plant foods with no energy in them.

If you truly practiced nutrient dense eating, all you would ever eat is liver powder and supplements. Not kale!
