EKKSTACY first started making beats on his grandma’s computer when he was in his mid-teens. “Some not cool things happened to me that led me to start singing and recording music when I was 16. My song ‘I walk this earth all by myself’ changed my life very quickly. I went from working a 9-to-5 in Vancouver to being able to tour and live in LA,” says EKKSTACY, whose sound embraces “elements of indie, punk and shoegaze and a few other things.”⁣⁣

“I’m not trying to do anything or force anything, I’m the most impulsive person that I know. I just do what I want in the moment. It works well for me. I’ve always been this way. There’s no plan for me.⁣⁣

I like bringing people together. I like seeing everyone having fun and seeing everyone happy. When I do a show and there are 1,000 kids having fun, I did that.”⁣⁣
