Bevelling is a type of finishing where we soften and polish a 90 degree angle on the edge of a watch part to a 45 degree angle. Once formed, the angle will be softened with a wooden buff with sandpaper glued on it, next up we will pre-polish the angle with another buff and a finer sandpaper. As last, there will be the final step, the polishing. It is done by rubbing gentiane wood with diamond paste over the angle. Work on a bridge can take up to 11 hours.
