You can swipe through my images to see a progression from sketch to completed birthday card. First, I started with the Sakura mechanical pencil. It’s my go-to when I need to draw my doodle out first, such as this cake and banner. Then, I used a Micron to trace my final design. Once I erased the pencil with a SumoGrip eraser, I colored everything in with the Koi Coloring Brush pens. I love that none of these pens smear when I color it in.
