Day and night views of Matsumoto Castle, a national treasure of Japan. 🏯 国宝・松本城の昼の顔と夜の顔。

日本を代表するお城のひとつ #松本城 。
当時のまま現存する貴重な日本の12天守閣のひとつで、さらにその中で5ヶ所しかない国宝に登録されている天守閣です。（つまり超貴重な城）

昨年11月に訪れた際にちょうど紅葉が見頃を迎えていたので、昼と夜に同じ場所で撮影してみました！昨年シーズン中にアップしそびれて今年こそ…と思ってたら、またもやタイミングを逃した🤦‍♀

1枚目も2枚目も同じ場所から撮影しているんだけど、全然違う姿に見えませんか？

松本城の特徴は黒漆が塗られた「漆黒の城」と呼ばれる外観だけど、夜にライトアップされた姿は昼間と全然違っていて…その佇まいに感動したのを覚えています。写真のくわしい撮影場所は、右下に写っている”有名な赤い橋”をヒントに歩いて探してみてくださいね😉

放送中の大河ドラマ #どうする家康 に絶賛ハマっている私ですが、キーパーソンのひとり石川数正が松本城に大きく関わっていたことを放送を見て知るという失態…次に訪れたときは彼の足跡も辿りながら巡りたいと思います。

#MatsumotoCastle is one of the most famous castles in Japan. It is one of the 12 most precious castle towers that still exists as it was when it was built, and one of only 5 in the country that is registered as a National Treasure. When I visited last November, the autumn leaves were just at their best, so I took pictures of the same place during the day and at night! I missed uploading them during the season last year and thought I'd do it this year... but I missed the timing again:

The first and second pictures were taken from the same place, but don't they look completely different? #Matsumotojo is characterized by its black lacquer exterior, called "Jet-Black Castle," but when lighted up at night, it looks completely different from its daytime appearance... I remember how impressed I was. For the exact location of the photo, please take a look at the "famous red bridge" in the lower right corner of the photo and try to find it on foot.
