Jack Riley, a Vietnam Veteran and Silver Star recipient, fought in one of the most intense and historic battles in the Vietnam War, the Battle of Geitlin’s Corner.

Jack Riley was awarded a Silver Star for valiantly leading his squad in the defense of their position on Hill 70, as well as single-handedly destroying six enemy machine gun crews with anti-tank weapons and grenades despite being severely wounded.
