Geopolitical tensions, conflicts and the pandemic have unfortunately set back the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. I shared how we can collectively progress faster towards the Sustainable Development Goals – first by strengthening the Multilateral Development Banks to support sustainable development and provide global public goods, and second by enhancing inclusive digital development. Singapore launched cross-border bilateral payment links with India, Indonesia and Malaysia this year, and we are working to connect up more payment systems multilaterally.
