After living in New York my whole life, I finally went to see the Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon inflation! Most fun part was all the fun facts Harlow would pull out of nowhere. Like that Snoopy debuted in 1968 (she loves dates) and has made more appearances in the parade than any other balloon. I looked it up. She’s right. It’s been in the parade 42 times and has had nine different versions. This year’s is new! We also loved guessing the deflated balloons. I think we got Lyle Lyle the Crocodile wrong, but Soongebob and Bluey were right! A huge thanks to the NY Historical Society for inviting us to this special viewing, available to all members! @nyhistory
