Fashion Friday: Tea-Length Dresses Tea-length dresses were popular on the spring/summer 2014 runways, including the collection of Project Runway winner Christian Siriano. These mid-calf length dresses were often worn dancing in the nineteen-teens, and for informal occasions, such as casual weddings and garden parties, throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Siriano’s dress reminds us of this 1959 Pierre Cardin cocktail design from the Museum’s collection.
