Photo of my Mom from sometime in the 70's. Just beautiful! #CocoaBeach, Florida was a pretty happening spot back in the 60's and 70's being a beach city full of Astronauts and surfers. Mom moved there from Maryland in the 60's when she was around 19 years old. She worked at the Space Center for a bit. She also played a little tennis and was in the local theater where both my parents acted in various plays. We never convinced her to surf but she could tan all day long and not get a sunburn. Most of my childhood memories come back when I smell the coppertone coconut tanning oil she used to wear.
