Here is a pic of on of my favorites from @princeoftennis, the #Panerai PAM339. This was a special edition in 2010 and limited to only 1500 pieces. It is also one of 4 watches to ever have the iconic “8 Giorni Brevettato” on the dial which translates to 8 Days Patented referring to the movement. This logo is also on the PAM203, PAM341, and eventually on the newly unveiled PAM590 from SIHH 2014. This watch was also a tribute to it’s historic link to the Italian Navy, bearing the Marina Militare distinction on the top of the Dial. It might look like a black Ceramic watch but Panerai created this matte brown composite with brown dial. The composite that they created is much harder than the normal ceramics that are used in watches. It is also harder than metals like steel and titanium while maintaining a super light feel.
