Clipped into a belay, with a stomach tightening sea of gravity below, one might think about dropping the rack / rope and your partners leaving you stranded. Would it end like a sailor lost at sea floating on a pallet raft living on flying fish or would one shiver for a week till your buddies decided to climb up and save your sorry hide. You look at the belay, satisfied the gear won't melt out if the crack, and enjoy the improbability of climbing an ancient crack on the side of a granite spire. This is living. #neverstopexploring
