SILVER FOR TEAM USA! The USA Women's Sabre Team captured silver at the Korfanty World Cup in Chicago this past weekend. Though we fell to Russia in the final, we had some great bouts yesterday. As always, I'm proud of our team no matter what!
In the individual event on Saturday, I made the final. Yay! I defeated Yu (China) 15-8, Kedizora (Poland) 15-3 and Dyachenko (Russia) 15-11. In the semi-finals I fell to Vecchi (Italy) 15-13. I'm happy with my performance this wkend and feel so thankful for every moment, good and bad. Back to work! #alhumdulillah #hardworkpaysoff #TeamUSA #winning ???
