Down looking up: Tarumpit, balanced on his dug-out canoe, pushes himself with his one fin, head under, mainly looking for sting rays and octopus hidden on the ocean floor. Bajau have been a nomadic, seafaring people for most of their history. They live on the Sulu Sea, spreading over the Philippines, Malaysia (state of Sabah), Indonesia and apparently even parts of Brunei.
