A team of climbers lost in the wilderness of the #Alaska range. These mountains were first photographed from the air by explorer Bradford Washburn. Washburn was mentored in part by Ansel Adams, although the two had their creative differences: Adams thought the use of human figures in landscape photography was a "cheap trick" whereas Washburn enjoyed capturing mountaineers in their natural environment, to give the landscape a sense of scale.
