Blast Off!
The William Lyon Mackenzie fire boat, stationed in Toronto, Ontario is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary, and what better way to do it than to fire off all of its water cannons. Named for the first mayor of Toronto, over the years the boat has helped quell a number of boat fires in Lake Ontario.. It is also responsible for keeping the channel between Ward Island and the mainland ice-free during the winter months.
