150 years ago today: Union General William Tecumseh Sherman's forces enter and occupy Atlanta, Georgia. The city was important during the Civil War as a railroad nexus. We recently took Sherman's coatee, shown here, to our photography studio for new photos. He wore the coatee during his assignment to garrison duty at Fort Moultrie, in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1842. #AllSummer1864 #CivilWar #menswear
