Had an amazing morning watching a herd of elk 100 ford the Snake River to reach the forest where they'll bed down for the day until sunset. Myself and @bdurgan waited for around an hour for the elk to arrive. When the first two did, they spotted us and bolted the other direction. Saddened we missed and messed up our opportunity, we waited a little while longer. The clouds were moving in and then all of a sudden, elk started to pour over the side and into the river.
