Winter is my favorite time of year. The cold inspires me. Doing fun things with freezing fingers is about as good as it gets. After a warm October an #arcticfront rolled into town. Temps dropped and the ground water from the wet summer froze up. ❄️❄️❄️ Early season ice is nice. It grows quickly and is still plastic. Low tide, boney skiing isn't worth the risk of injured knees and we are a couple of storms away from the grass getting covered and the rocks being submerged. Once ice sublimates it contracts and gets brittle. In November it is sweet and juicy!
