Owing to the Sierra Leonean government's order that all deaths be treated as possible #Ebola cases, Fatmata's small body was collected by a safe burial team and buried in the King Tom cemetery with only a stick to mark her resting place. According to the family, she came down with a fever last night and passed away this morning. In accordance with current law, burial workers took an oral swab to test for Ebola and will inform the family of her status in the coming days. Ibrahim named his first and only daughter after his mother, Fatmata, who died in 2002.
