Though I've been hearing about the place since 6th grade, little could have been done to prepare me for the real thing. To see firsthand the abundance of wildlife, the vast array of environments, and the incredibly passionate people who are working hard to protect it, was an inspiring experience. This place is something special. Here, a giant Galapagos tortoise moves through the heart of the annual tortoise migratory route in the lush highlands of Santa Cruz island. More photos to come!
