Tell me what you see. What is this image? Who do you think is working for peace? Who is doing the right thing? And just an idea before you do: maybe it isn't more complicated than what you see. Maybe you don't need to know the context, because the world IS your context. Maybe we can admit we're looking at an unarmed man in a t-shirt backing away from heavily armored operatives armed to the teeth in military grade weaponry. And if we can say that, what more can we say about what's happening? Is he black? Are they white? Is this happening frequently? When you're arguing about details, who frequently disagrees with you? Are they black? Are you white? Do you think I need more facts? Do you think you know better? Etc. We need to be examining ourselves now, rather than being so afraid of being wrong that we cling to opinions. Opinions ain't much. #Ferguson
