Having you beard plucked by a parrot is a fairly painful experience! Even if it is the very rare black parrot, a species endemic to the Seychelles. Rio is a female black parrot that fell out of the nest and permanently damaged one if it's wings. Unable to survive in the wild Rio has become a animal ambassador, giving Seychelles school children the life changing experience to experience this threatened species at close range.
