#DearDirectorsDiary, after several weeks of many challenges, including a day where we shot 16+ pages in 14 hours(!) I'm happy to report that episode 517 is officially WRAPPED! Now this is the place in the post where it's customary to thank the crew for all their hard work, but my #gratitude to them goes so much deeper than the usual platitudes. From everyone to the producers, @plenkov and kickass 1st AD @neume810, to the grips, sound, scripty, hair/makeup, right on down to the PA's, art dept., props, camera boys and EVERY department in between, I've never appreciated our crew more than I do today. All episode long I've depended on them to be better at their jobs than I was at mine, and they didn't disappoint. Without their support and protection I can say without a doubt there would have shots that I missed or wouldn't have looked as good. So the next time you watch an episode of #H50 and appreciate the acting or the writing, take the time to read the end credits and appreciate the names of the people who represent the foundation for everything we do. They are as responsible for our success as any of us #actors. So I dedicate my directorial debut to the #crew of #Hawaii Five-0. Thank you for standing by me (often literally) and giving me the confidence to open this new chapter of my career. #Mahalo #ohana #respect #aloha #aspire #dream
